Strange how one instance in some ones life can change everything you have ever known real. Death of a child is like no other, your life is now upside down broken. Everything you have ever thought to be really important seems to be minor now. A simple part of life like breathing seems to be hard now, eating and living is now a triumph something that effort is now needed to survive day to day. There is no explanation as there is no name for what we are (Parents who have lost our children). The dictionary describes widows who have lost their spouse , Orphans who have lost their parents, but what are we? There is no name or description for us due to the fact this is against the law of nature. This should never be, parents should not be burying their children.
We sit after the moment our children pass and take our hearts, our thoughts, our life with them... empty with no answers to why we are left with a shattered life to try to put together. Do we ever put it back together or do we just learn to live day by day with the pain we feel, numbed by life's circumstances?
